Pea Protein Isolate is produced through a wet extraction process that selectively concentrates the protein fraction of yellow peas. The result is functional, neutral-flavoured powder with excellent solubility.

Protein is derived from pea protein that undergoes controlled heat treatment to unfold the native protein structure. This modification alters solubility and improves water-binding, gelation, and cohesion properties, making it suitable for structured and emulsified food systems.

Pea Starch is extracted as a co-product of the protein isolation process. Its relatively high amylose content gives it unique gelling characteristics compared to corn or potato starch, producing firm, elastic gels suitable for a broad range of food applications.

Our plant fiber products are produced via extrusion of pea flour and pea hulls, creating a fibrous, layered structure with versatile textural properties. These extruded ingredients serve as a building block for plant-based food products, adding texture, fiber content, and structure.

Located at Prohorova iela 13, Jelgava, ASNS Ingredient is currently constructing a modern processing facility specialising in the extraction and refinement of yellow pea fractions. Once operational in Q1 2027, our integrated production line will convert whole yellow peas into four distinct, high-value ingredients with minimal waste.
